Which operating systems are supported?
Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows 2000 SP3.
On Windows 2000, SP3 or higher and MS Internet Explorer 6.0+ must be pre-installed.
FreeForm Notebook uses Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 or later. .NET 3.0 is pre-installed on Windows Vista. On other operating systems you will be prompted to install .NET 3.0, if it is not already present.

Start FreeForm Notebook. Choose Help | Enter Registration Code menu. Enter the Registered User Name and Registration Code exactly as provided to you. This will convert your trial version into licensed version without re-installation. All your information remains intact.

How do I backup my FreeForm Notebook data?
FreeForm Notebook stores all data for a notebook in a single file. It is imperative that you frequently backup this file to an external media, such as an external hard drive, USB drive or CD, just in case your computer becomes non-functional. The full path of the FreeForm Notebook Data file you need to backup is displayed in the FreeForm Notebook About Dialog Box (Choose Help | About FreeForm Notebook menu).
